i-meter Gateway generates interest
10 June 2009 - The launch of the i-meter gateway has attracted media interest. Intermoco has been getting requests for information on this new ground breaking product. The interest stems form the fact that AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) has been up till now reliant on private or specialized communication networks. The ability to utilize the internet as its communication path will help reduce the cost of meter communications. This saving will be a welcome relief as the cost of utilities are set to rise over the next decade.
