Utiligy Signs New Embedded Network
Utiligy  has been awarded a five year contract for the company’s first  embedded network that includes the supply of Voice and Data.

The contract is for the supply and management of electricity, hot water, voice and data to seventy-one apartments used for student accommodation in Hawthorn, Melbourne. The contract which includes provision of all metering and telecommunications hardware and the retailing of the electricity, hot water, phone calls and internet access has a contract value in estimated to be in excess of $1.2M.

Great start to FY2010

Intermoco through it Utiligy brand has continued on from record orders in the fourth quarter of Financial Year 09, to record an order intake of just over $1 million in the first ten days of the new financial year.

This is a record order intake in such a short timeframe for the company and represents a great start to meeting target revenue for FY10 of $8 million. Intermoco’s Business Development Director Mr Ian KiddIe said that these orders represent the growing strength of the Utiligy brand in the metering sector.

Major Electricity Retailer Signs a 5 Year Contract
Intermoco has signed a major Electricity Retailer for the remote reading of their electricity meters for a 5 year contract.

Under the agreement Intermoco will supply, commission, and operate the communications equipment and remotely read metering systems, provide the maintenance and support of meter data database storage facilities for the agreed period, operate a National Operations Centre (NOC), and support a web access facility to allow the Retailer secure access to meter data, energy demand management information and usage information.

New Meter Reading Orders

Utiligy has secured two significant orders for its remote meter reading hardware and software.

Both orders are for two thousand (2000) radio endpoints for a total of four thousand (4000) radio end points and follow the successful trial of the radio devices. The orders are for deployment with two of Australia’s largest Utilities and the initial order value exceeds $0.5M. These orders are expected to be the first in a line of rolling orders that should amount up to $4M per annum.
